Mental Health Promotion and Harm Reduction

 

The Mental Health Promotion and Harm Reduction Branch provides strategic leadership for provincial system planning and policy development as it relates to mental health, harm reduction and early response supports for children and youth. The branch works with several partners, including Shared Health, regional health authorities, Indigenous partners, grant funded service providers and other community partners to improve mental health and harm reduction services in the province. Through strong collaboration, the branch supports a wide range of programs and services related to mental health promotion, suicide prevention, community and school-based support services, substance use prevention and harm reduction.
